Using Cramer's Rule
First, you need to convert your equations to matrices. The d matrix is the matrix with all the coefficients of the equations in a 2x2 matrix. The x matrix is the 2x2 matrix with x variable coefficients replaced by the corresponding products of the equation. Same with the y matrix, you replace the y variable coefficients with the product of the equations. Finally you find the values. To find the x value, you need to find the determinant of the x matrix and divide that by the determinant of the d matrix. And for the y matrix, you need to find the determinant of the y matrix and divide it by the determinant of the d matrix. The quotients of those problems are the x and y values.
