Using the Graphing Method
Probably the most straightforward method, the graphing method is probably one of the simplest. All you have to do is graph the lines from each equation and then find the intersection. The x coordinate of the ordered pair is the x value, and the y coordinate is the y value. The easiest way to graph the equations is to change the equations into slope-intercept form. To transform your equation into slope-intercept form, all you have to do is isolate the variable y. Then you graph the equation. The coefficient of the x value is the slope and the number without any variable is the slope-intercept. WARNING: Although this method might be the simplest, It could be very tough to do without a graphing calculator!!!!!!!!!
